Agreement and scope
These Terms apply to the breakinto.ai website, applications, content, tools, and related services. By creating an account, purchasing access, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
If you use breakinto.ai on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to accept these Terms. If you are below the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to them for you.
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login details secure. Your account is personal to you. You may not share, sell, transfer, or allow another person to use it. You are responsible for activity through your account, including activity by anyone you permit to use it.
Contact [email protected] promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Email communications
By creating an account, you agree to receive product updates and marketing communications from breakinto.ai. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails.
We also send emails needed to operate your account and provide the service, such as email verification, password resets, billing notices, security alerts, and replies to support requests. You may still receive these service emails after opting out of marketing.
What breakinto.ai provides
breakinto.ai provides interview preparation tools for candidates pursuing roles in frontier AI. These may include company and role guides, a question bank, Deep Dives, Mini Cases, Rapid Fire sets, coding challenges, automated scoring, feedback, progress features, and an application and interview tracker.
Some content is informed by candidate interview reports and independent research. Unless we state otherwise, breakinto.ai is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any company named on the service. Company processes and interview questions can change.
Free and paid access
We may offer both free features and paid plans. The features, price, billing period, and access included in a paid plan are shown before purchase.
Subject to these Terms, breakinto.ai gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the service for your own non-commercial interview preparation.
AI-powered features are subject to usage limits, which vary by membership plan.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Paid plans are recurring subscriptions. Monthly plans renew each month, three-month plans renew every three months, and annual plans renew each year unless you cancel before the next renewal date.
By purchasing a plan, you authorise breakinto.ai and the payment provider identified at checkout to charge the payment method you provide for the initial term and each renewal. The total price, billing period, and any applicable taxes will be shown before you complete the purchase.
You can cancel using the cancellation option available in your account or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep paid access until the end of the current billing period.
We will give reasonable advance notice of a price change that affects a future renewal. If you do not accept the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.
Refunds
Paid content becomes available immediately after purchase. Payments are therefore generally non-refundable and we do not provide partial refunds for unused time.
This does not limit any refund, cancellation, or withdrawal right that cannot be excluded under applicable law. If we issue a refund outside those rights, it does not create an obligation to offer the same refund in another case.
Your submissions
You retain ownership of the answers, code, audio, interview reports, tracker entries, and other material you submit to breakinto.ai.
You give breakinto.ai a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, analyse, transmit, and display your submissions only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. This includes producing scores and feedback and sharing material with service providers that process it on our behalf.
We may retain and use de-identified or aggregated information derived from submissions to improve our content, scoring, and product. We will not publish your submission, use it as a testimonial, or identify you publicly without separate permission.
Keep your own copies of any submissions, scorecards, or tracker information you need. We do not guarantee that stored material will remain available indefinitely.
You represent and warrant that you own or have all rights and permissions needed for anything you submit, and that our permitted use of it will not violate any law, confidentiality obligation, or third-party right. Do not submit trade secrets, employer or interview confidential information, material covered by a confidentiality agreement, or personal information about another person without permission.
Automated scoring and feedback
Some features use automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to analyse submissions and produce scores, transcripts, or feedback. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent.
Scoring is a practice aid based on our rubrics. It does not represent a hiring decision by any company and is not professional, legal, or career advice. You remain responsible for how you use the feedback.
Acceptable use
You may not use breakinto.ai to:
- break the law, infringe another person's rights, or submit material you do not have the right to use.
- share, resell, republish, or commercially exploit our content or your account access.
- scrape, copy in bulk, reconstruct our datasets, or use our content to train an AI system or build a competing product.
- bypass a paywall, rate limit, access control, or usage limit, including by creating or coordinating multiple accounts.
- reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- introduce malware, probe for vulnerabilities, interfere with the service, or access another user's account.
- misuse a code runner, upload harmful code, or use our infrastructure for activity unrelated to the intended challenge.
Our content and intellectual property
The service and its original content, including challenges, rubrics, scorecards, guides, software, design, and branding, are owned by or licensed to breakinto.ai. Your right to use the service does not transfer ownership of that material.
You may view and use the content available through your plan and keep copies of your own submissions and scorecards for personal use. Any other reproduction, distribution, or commercial use requires written permission.
Company names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. If you believe material on breakinto.ai infringes your rights, contact [email protected].
Third-party services
breakinto.ai relies on service providers for functions such as payments, hosting, error monitoring, email, code execution, transcription, and automated feedback. We may send those providers the information needed to perform their services for us.
The service may also link to third-party websites. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Separate third-party terms may apply when you use them.
Availability and changes
We work to keep breakinto.ai available and accurate, but we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Access may be affected by maintenance, security work, technical failures, or events outside our reasonable control.
We may add, change, or remove features as the product develops. If a material change significantly reduces a paid service during your current billing period, we will provide any notice or remedy required by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including failures of internet, infrastructure, hosting, payment, or other third-party services.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. Cancelling a paid plan has the effect described in section 6.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay an amount due, misuse the service, create a security risk, or require us to act unlawfully. We will provide notice where practical, but may act immediately when needed to protect users, the service, or third parties.
If access ends because of your breach, payments already made are not refundable except where required by law. Provisions that are intended to continue, including ownership, disclaimers, indemnity obligations, and liability limits, survive termination.
No outcome guarantee
breakinto.ai cannot guarantee an interview, job offer, hiring result, or particular score. Interview processes vary by company, role, team, location, and time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for a particular result.
No information or feedback provided through the service creates a warranty not expressly stated in these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
Limits on liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, breakinto.ai and the people and service providers involved in operating it will not be liable under any legal theory for any loss or damage arising from or relating to your access to, use of, reliance on, or inability to use the service.
This exclusion includes direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, data, or submissions, business interruption, interview or employment outcomes, reliance on content, scores, or automated feedback, service interruption, unauthorised access, harmful code, and third-party content, conduct, or services, even if we were advised that such loss was possible.
Where liability cannot be excluded but may be limited, the total aggregate liability of breakinto.ai arising from or relating to the service or these Terms, regardless of the legal theory or number of claims, will not exceed USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless breakinto.ai and its operators, personnel, contractors, licensors, and service providers from and against third-party claims, demands, proceedings, liabilities, losses, damages, judgments, and reasonable costs, including legal fees, arising from or relating to:
- your submissions, including any allegation that they infringe another person's rights or breach a confidentiality obligation.
- your unlawful, fraudulent, unauthorised, or abusive use of the service.
- your breach of these Terms or violation of applicable law or another person's rights.
- access to or use of your account by a person you permitted to use it.
We may assume control of the defence and settlement of a covered claim, and you agree to provide reasonable cooperation. You may not settle a covered claim in a way that imposes liability or obligations on breakinto.ai without our prior written consent. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you after becoming aware of a covered claim.
Disputes and applicable law
If a dispute arises, contact [email protected] first so we can try to resolve it in good faith.
If we cannot resolve the dispute, either party may bring a claim before a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law. These Terms do not remove any mandatory protection or right to bring a claim in a forum available to you under applicable consumer law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service or our practices change. The latest version will always show its last updated date.
If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice on the service or by email before it takes effect when appropriate. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, you should stop using the service and cancel any renewal.
General terms
These Terms, together with any plan or feature terms shown at checkout, form the agreement between you and breakinto.ai about the service.
If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right.
You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer these Terms as part of a merger, financing, reorganisation, or sale of all or part of the service, provided your mandatory rights remain protected.
